Hop Aboard The Cooma Connector !!!

Cooma's daily return commuter service to Canberra is set to take off on Monday, 27 February, 2012!

With on-demand stops between Cooma and Civic and arriving in time to make connections with Canberra and to Queanbeyan, leave the car at home and let the Cooma Connector bring you to Canberra and back. While on-board, log on to DeanesNet – the Deane's Transit Group's free Wi-fi service!*

The Cooma Connector will run for a 3-month trial period. To keep it running beyond that period, your town needs you to jump on board!

Cooma Connector Bikes

Why not bring your bike to work? Stay mobile in Canberra even though you've left your car at home! Load your bike in the Cooma Connector's cargo hold for $3 one-way!

Please note that all bikes must be unassembled for the journey and stored in the cargo hold only for safety reasons.

Cooma Connector Community

The Cooma Connector is a bold initiative to provide commuters in the Cooma-Monaro Shire with an efficient, daily link to Canberra, Queanbeyan and Yass. The current timetable, pricing and frequency were based upon results of surveys conducted by the Cooma-Monaro Shire Council in October 2011. As it's a service for the community, we need your feedback on how it's going so that it can keep going beyond this 3-month trial period. Email us at capitalinfo@deanestransitgroup.com.au

Actual arrival times will depend on external conditions for which we do not have control over e.g. traffic congestion in Canberra etc. In addition, while we have advertised that DeanesNet Wi-fi and cargo/luggage space is available on Cooma Connector services, Wi-fi may not be available in certain areas along the route due to the absence of, or poor mobile network coverage and/or connectivity. In addition, Wi-fi and/or cargo/luggage space may not be available should the regular vehicles performing Cooma Connector services are not available to due servicing or maintenance issues.
